After the entry of JIO in the Indian telecom market, all other telecom companies are confused to bring out a better plan to attract customers. Reliance’s Jio network has clearly understood the public’s need and necessity and drafter the plans accordingly. Now, in an effort to attract customers Vodafone network has come up with new offers.
According to the new offer, if you recharge for Rs. 179 you will be getting unlimited data for 28-days time period. Along with this data offer, this pack gives unlimited calls facility.
For now, this offer has been introduced only in the states of Bihar and Jharkand and soon to be expected in other states too.
Though this offer by Vodafone is a step to attract customers, it is not tailored to pull majority of customers from other networks as data has become the key factor among customers. Leading data networks like Jio are giving the unlimited experience of 3G and 4G to users. Nobody prefers a 2G data speed even it is given out free. So, this new offer from Vodafone may not attract customers to switch over to Vodafone. Other than this, the unlimited calls facility too have certain limitations. In terms of call, one can avail only about 250 minutes a day free and 1000 minutes of voice in a week.
These limitations will not give any attraction to the users to look at Vodafone’s offer. However, there could be few who can see this offer tailored to their need as it is just Rs. 179 a month. Beyond the free usages, each call will be charged with 30 paisa.
